I'll leave the giant tubs to my husband __
My husband has the powders, the shaker, the giant tubs, the whole setup. I have absolutely no interest in adding that to my kitchen __ These are much more my sort of thing. I do weights twice a week and wanted to give creatine a proper go without turning it into a hobby.
Prefer to creatine powder
Been lifting for years. Already used creatine, already knew what to expect. Swapped the format and my training has carried on nicely. Main advantage is I can take these anywhere without carrying a little bag of white powder around.
Good
Prefer chewing these to swallowing big capsules.
Wasn't convinced by gummies, but these are great
I was quite dismissive of gummies initially. Creatine powder is inexpensive and well researched, so why pay more for the same thing? In my case, the answer turned out to be consistency. I work shifts, my meals happen at odd times, and the powder regularly stayed in the cupboard.
I've now been taking these daily for several weeks alongside my usual lifting. The difference isn't some enormous surge of energy. It's smaller: getting through the last sets with a little more left, and sometimes managing another rep where I'd normally stop. I'm also making an effort with sleep and food.
I wouldn't tell someone who's perfectly solid with powder that they need to switch. But if you're like me and keep buying supplements without actually taking them regularly, the gummies format is worth considering.
Easy to travel with
I travel for work most weeks, and my normal routine tends to disappear as soon as I leave home. Hotel breakfast, different gym, late meetings.
Gummies solve one small part of that. I can keep taking my creatine without finding something to mix it into. I'm not claiming they're better than powder for results; they're simply better suited to how I live.
Tasty creatine
nice flavour, easy enough to chew. prefer these to the powder but wish the pack lasted longer.
Always easy to shop with, I have only once had caused to complain this was sorted promptly and to my satisfaction. Very happy with pureclinica as such.
So far so good, but early days
Only a week in, so can't comment on strength yet. Taste is fine and they're easy to take. Too early for a proper verdict.
Good for stamina
I train in the evening and wasn't looking for anything that made me feel wired. What I wanted was help with the actual lifting.
After taking creatine consistently, the benefit I've noticed is mostly towards the end of a hard exercise. I seem to have a little more available for those last reps. I don't get a sudden kick after taking the gummies, which suits me perfectly.
Taste ok
Berry wouldn't normally be my first choice, but it's pleasant enough. I'd buy another flavour if they brought one out.
Good for all ages
I'm 54 and started strength training because I want to stay mobile and capable as I get older. Carrying shopping, lifting a suitcase, getting things done myself. You wee too many older people who struggle with basic tasks and their life looks ruined to me. I don't want to be that guy in 20 years. That's my why.
A lot of supplement advertising seems aimed at people who already look like athletes, which put me off. My daughter explained why people take creatine alongside weights, and gummies felt like an approachable place to start.A couple of months into my routine, I'm using heavier dumbbells and feel much more confident with the exercises. Training deserves plenty of credit, of course. But these have been an easy addition, and I appreciate being able to take them without preparing another drink.
Starting to feel strong again
Returning to the gym after having children has been humbling. I used to feel strong, and starting again with lighter weights knocked my confidence more than I expected.
I bought these because I wanted to support the work I was already doing. Over the last couple of months I've become more consistent with both training and taking creatine, and I'm finally adding weight to a few exercises.
The best part is feeling strong again. Yes, I would like a bit more definition, but being able to pick up a heavier stuff without immediately doubting myself matters more right now.
Fits into my routine
I eat a vegetarian diet and became interested in creatine after reading about where we normally get it from. My main goal is building strength; I'm not expecting a supplement to compensate for how I eat or train.
I've been taking it consistently while following a proper weights programme. My lifts have improved, and my muscles look a little fuller. I can't separate out exactly how much comes from creatine, better programming or simply eating enough, but I'm pleased with the direction. I chose gummies because I already make enough shakes and meals. It was useful to have one part of the routine that didn't require more preparation.
On my second pack
Second pack now. Taste works for me, and taking them has become automatic after breakfast. My training is going well, although I wouldn't pretend every good workout is down to a gummy. It's just one of the few supplements I've actually managed to stick with.
Easiest creatine to take
Finally, creatine I remember to take.
Creatine
I nearly stopped taking creatine because my weight went up slightly. After spending months trying to get the number down, that wasn't something I was pleased about.
Reading more helped me understand that creatine can increase water held in the muscles, so a change on the scales doesn't automatically mean fat gain. My clothes still fitted the same, and my training was going well.
I've carried on. My shoulders and legs look a bit fuller, and I'm progressing with my lifts. I wish I'd understood the possible scale change before starting, though. For anyone who watches their weight closely, that part can really mess with your head if you're not expecting it.
GAINSSSS
I play five-a-side and do a couple of gym sessions each week. Bought these mainly because I wanted to improve my strength and cope better with repeated hard efforts.
The clearest difference so far has been in the gym. I'm getting more consistent reps across my sets instead of the final set falling apart. Harder to judge on the pitch because every game is different.
Happy enough to keep going. They're straightforward to take, and I haven't had to change anything else about my day to fit them in.
Ok taste
Four stars from me. Convenient, and I like knowing what the serving is, but the sweetness isn't quite to my taste. I'll finish them because taking them is easier than mixing powder at work. Would choose a less sweet version next time if there was one.
Best gummies
I spent ages looking at creatine before buying any. It seems like my worries were fairly normal: would I gain weight, would it upset my stomach, would I get too muscular?
Eventually I decided to try it alongside the programme I was already following. I'm glad I did. Several weeks in and I can lift more and my butt is more toned. The back of my arms are more firm now which is something I've always been self-conscious about
Delicious gummies
Actually finished a month's supply for once.
Bought on offer, would buy again
Got these for half price when they launched in exchange for an honest review. Been taking creatine taking creatine on and off for years, these were best gummies I tasted so far. Like that they have proper 3rd party testing and can prove they actually have the right dose in. Will probably buy more when I run out if I can get them on offer again.
Surprisingly nice taste
Taste nicer than expected! Was bracing myself for that weird supplement aftertaste. Would happily have a citrus option as well though.
Still hate leg day. These made it worse since I have to squat an extra half plate on each side now
Finally getting past those last few reps
I bought these after getting fed up with being stuck on the same weights. I train before work and only have about 45 minutes, so i want those sessions to count. The first week I didn't notice any thing and wondered whether I'd wasted my money. Carried on, kept following my programme, and a few weeks later realised I was finishing sets I'd previously struggled with. Nothing ridiculous, just a bit more work at the same weight. That small improvement has been surprisingly motivating. When you're putting the effort in three or four mornings a week, seeing your notebook finally move forwards feels good.
Not worth it
Too expensive compared with a normal creatine but I knew that when I ordered, but I'm still undecided whether the convenience justifies it the price tag. If you already make a protein shake every day, adding powder probably isn't much extra effort.
Really well dosed
The serving size was what made me choose these. I compare products by how much creatine you actually get, rather than how many gummies are in the packet. Three for the listed 5g made sense to me. I also want clear testing information with this sort of product; flavour alone isn't enough to convince me.
Excellent
Bought for the gym, kept buying because they're easy. Berry flavour is decent too. Nothing complicated about it.
Good for memory
I came across creatine through all the talk about brain fog and focus, rather than bodybuilding. That's what made me curious. I haven't noticed a masive change in concentration, still find myslef doom scrolling instagram and tiktok but it does feel like I can lock in for a bit longer. Also, my memory seems to be a bit better, especially with names.
The gummies themselves are easy to keep up with. Still making my mind up about the wider claims and the science around them.
Solid
Three gummies. No shaker to wash. Decent taste.
