Resveratrol is a polyphenol concentrated in the skins of red grapes. Only trans-resveratrol is biologically relevant, so a total 'resveratrol' figure may include a large proportion of inactive material. Max Strength Resveratrol provides 1,000 mg standardised to 50% trans-resveratrol, a defined 500 mg of the active isomer per tablet.
