Our hyaluronic acid starts life as the bacteria Streptococcus zooepidemicus. Cultivated in a controlled environment, the bacteria are grown in a culture medium, allowing them to multiply and produce hyaluronic acid through a fermentation process.

Purification

The culture broth containing hyaluronic acid is harvested. Purification by filtration, centrifugation, and dialysis is then carried out to remove impurities, residual cells, and other unwanted substances, resulting in a refined and concentrated pure hyaluronic acid.
