Omega-3s in phospholipid form

Krill oil is sourced from Antarctic krill, and its distinction is the form its omega-3s take. Each capsule provides 500 mg of krill oil lipid extract carrying EPA and DHA bound to phospholipids, the form these fatty acids take within cell membranes. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (at a daily intake of 250 mg), and DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision.

Krill naturally contain astaxanthin, and this product provides 150 mg of astaxanthin esters together with 200 mg of phospholipids per capsule, a complete lipid profile of omega-3s, phospholipids and a natural carotenoid rather than a stripped oil.
